Notes from prophetic intercession on 28 May 2020
Bethesda House
The enemy is aggressively stealing hope, as waves of hopelessness are being released over the world, believers and unbelievers alike. God wants to firmly plant His people in His hope and faith again!
Hope in Jesus (Isaiah 11)
We declare JESUS is the hope of glory to the nations. We declare Jesus over the nations. The hope for life. To the weak – for new strength. To bring vision. Hope for those in despair. Those who haven’t even seen God yet. Let hope begin to arise in their spirit.
Mind of Christ / A Sound Mind (1 Corinthians 2:16, 14:33, 2 Timothy 1:7, Titus 2:11-14)
We have the mind of Christ. We can discern the devil and resist him and tell him to flee. God is the author of peace. Believers do not settle for a state of chaos. We release soundness of mind and thought over people. We release God’s peace to guard their hearts and minds. We speak resilience over people as they have been flirtIng with hopelessness and despair and bless them with focus on God.
Hope as an Anchor (Hebrews 6:18-19 , Ephesians 4:14-16)
Be steadfast and strong. Not tossed about by every storm. This anchor keeps us secure regardless of what we see around us and in the media.
Hope by the Spirit (Romans 15:13)
May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace so that by the Spirit you will abound in hope. We remember Pentecost. We pray as Holy Spirit is poured out that we will be filled with hope.
God Our Protector (Psalm 121, Psalm 55:22 1, 2 Timothy 1:12)
Our Protector never slumbers. He keeps us from harm. We speak the awareness of His ever presence over His people. They can stand secure on this hope. His heart is turned towards them. He are actively working in their lives. Open the eyes of your heart to see the Lord’s presence in your circumstances. Cast your burdens on Jesus and trust Him that He is keeping you safe. We declare that people will be willing to invite God into their dark places. Let go of the breath of tension. Maybe you have even been unaware of it. God says you can let go now.
Remember (Psalm 40, Psalm 33, Psalm 42)
God sustains His servant. Remember the things God has done for you. Rejoice in the Lord, Church! The eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him; who waits on Him and trust in Him. His Word commands provision. He is sovereign Lord. He is protecting and providing for those who look to Him. He will not disappoint us. Lord, release Your song that brings peace comfort and fresh awareness of Your love.
Stop and mark the moments of remembering the Lord’s faithfulness.
Altars. Standing stones. We call those who are quiet and who won’t normally speak to remind others of the tangibility of God’s power and provision. May there be a flood of testimonies that are released across messages, social media, as people look through journals and diaries.
Hope in His Word (Psalm 119:114, Psalm 119:81)
You are my hiding place and shield. I hope in Your Word. As people read Your Word, the word of hope will spread. Stir the hearts of people to share with each other a word of hope. By songs, messages, social media. So people can begin to see the Light in the darkness
Dry Bones Come Alive (Ezekiel 37:4, Isaiah 61:2-3)
Let’s dance in the ashes and create hope together by knowing that God is present. Do not lose sight. We speak breath and life back into those dry bones. Enemy has stolen your voice people. Step up and declare God’s perfect plan for your lives. Throw off the spirit of heaviness. We declare open eyes, ears and mouths. The gospel of Jesus creates a spring of hope and a river of hope that will sweep people up and carry them along. There will be no more hopelessness but valleys of greenery. Hands off enemy! Let people speak, hear, and see life.
The Harvest is Ready
Prophesy a flood of people coming into the Kingdom as people start testifying. Prepare churches to do altar calls and invite people into the Kingdom of heaven. Church do not miss this window of opportunity. Break open normal routines. Impress on the hearts of people what needs to change in order to make space for more people to be able to come to Jesus. Church open your arms to the harvest. Believers prepare for things to not be as they were. Expect people to be ripe for conversation. Get prepared for testifying and sharing and leading people to Christ. Be prepared to explain salvation and the hope that is within you.
Seek First the King and His Kingdom (Matthew 6:33)
Cure for anxiety is to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Believers stop focusing on yourselves and your own problems, fears, plans, solutions. Submit anew. Lay down your lives at the foot of the cross again. Offer yourselves to Him and to the advancement of the Kingdom. Where hopelessness is brought on by wrong understanding of the nature and character of God – release wisdom to the body of Christ. We call believers to a greater level of understanding. Prophesy that You are moving and reshaping in a new way in this church of Yours Lord. As hope rises so will miracles.
SONG: Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus Helen Howarth Lemmel 1922
Hebrews 12. Let us run our race today focused on the Lord and not on our situations/obstacles. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. Consider Him who has endured so much lest you become weary and discouraged. Focus on Him. This is the antidote. May there be a strengthening of weak hands – and straight paths for our feet for the race ahead. Healing for those areas that are lame. You send forth Your word as healing. In the midst of the shaking – help us to fix our eyes on You, Lord.
SONG: I Speak Jesus. (Here Be Lions 2019)
We speak Jesus over our lives, every anxiety, every worry, over every enemy, every darkness, over our families, over the church. We declare Jesus is the hope of all glory. He is the hope of the nations. We declare Jesus in the nations. That every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord. As He is lifted up people will be drawn to Him. You are the Light of the world and darkness can not overcome You.
