I saw a picture of a lion. He was walking towards us from a hill as the sun was rising behind him. A new dawn; it felt like the first day of spring. God was the lion and He was breathing out flowers and fresh air over us. ⁠

⁠He is bringing refreshment, but we need to step forward and be open. He is calling us to refresh our minds, to make room for Him to say new things. We cannot put God in a box, so how can we put His methods or ideas in one. He has so much more for us. We can stay in our comfort and stay on the surface, but He calls us deeper. We need to let Him in, without our own perceived ideas silencing him.⁠

⁠He is also calling us to refresh our spirits. We are not meant to be pulled down by what’s happening around us. We are in the kingdom of light. Our God is on the hill and wants to breathe life into our lives. Let us partner with God in bringing hope and speak what He lays on our hearts. ⁠

⁠Speak His truth, His love, His light and all His plans for the world. ⁠

⁠God wants to do new things. Let us not hold ourselves from moving forward. God wants to grow new things in us and transform what is broken around us and in our communities.⁠

⁠“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 ESV⁠
